Students create an environment-friendly area at HCC

Wednesday 29th March 2017

There have been fantastic developments to the Year 8 environment-friendly outdoor area at the College, following our Personal, Social and Health Education day yesterday. Numerous bird boxes, bee-friendly flowers and a new insect hotel for our smallest visitors are now in place. After much deliberation, our guest adjudicator Angela Renshaw, along with Sarah Bayes and Graham Vallender, decided the award should go to Ruby Livingstone...

Flora Day – 6th May 2017

Thursday 23rd March 2017

As always, a large number of students will be taking part this year and we are sure they will be a credit to both Helston and the College. We must respect the traditions of the day and have always been very grateful to parents for their support in this and helping students to appear so well turned out.  We have a special responsibility as the "senior" participants in this dance.  In particular, we must stress the importance of wearing white and not cream. A list of the correct dress for this day, including local suppliers can be found here....
