Year 11 February Mock Exams

In the first week back after the February half-term, students will sit another round of mock exams in some of their subjects - another chance to practise exam technique and show us what they have learnt and revised since the mocks in November. Teachers of these subjects will prep the students before we break-up so that they know exactly what they need to revise. Revision resources will be available next week, if not already provided.

Year 11 Extended Days

From Monday 3 March (the week after the mocks), the school day has been extended on Monday to Thursday for all Year 11 students until 4.15pm, so they can attend subject specific revision lessons. These will run as follows:

Monday - Science

Tuesday - Maths

Wednesday - one of their option subjects

Thursday - English

Friday - normal finish time (3.15pm)

Students will receive new timetables to show which revision class they are in on each day. Some of the lessons will be grade specific rather than in their usual class so that revision can be targeted. Running revision like this will take some pressure off students and parents/carers in the evenings.
